Germany doesn't always get enough snow for cross country skiing, but if the weather is right, there are plenty of options of higher elevation resorts for a week's cross country skiing.
Bayerischer Wald
Set in the Bavarian Forest’s oldest national park this region has the ski areas of:
Well known for it's indoor ski tunnel, which is probably the best in Europe.
Ski tracks are prepared from the ski hall once snow is available, and there are roller ski tracks the rest of the year, but not for the faint hearted!
