Autrans reaches an altitude of 1283M and has 60K of cross country skiing trails, and a further 40K in Gève and 3K in Méaudre if there is sufficient snow.

One of the highest cross country ski areas in France and Europe at an altitude of 1727 metres. It's situated between Val Cenis and Bonneval-sur-Arc on the edge of the Vanoise Park and near to Italy.
Situated below Bessans at a height of 1200-1800 metres, the area only has a small cross country area. But it can be combined with Bessans and you can ski/bus between the two.
This area covers the Ecrins National Park, through the Clarée Valley, The Izoard and the Serre Chevalier Valley.
The largest Nordic ski area in the Hautes Alps, Queyras offers cross country skiing in it's 4 valleys, 3 linked by prepared trails.
