Dobbiacco-Toblach is in the 04 Area of Dolomiti NordicSki zone. The scenic town of Dobbiaco sits at 1200m and is an ideal base in the Dolomites. It is a cultural mix of Austrian and Italian traditions, and the names becomes Toblach in German. Drei Zinnen - The Three chimneys/peaks ski area comprises the villages of - Braies, Villabassa, Dobbiaco, San Candido and Sesto/Sexten. Each of these areas have been broken down further as there is quite a bit of information on each. The main travel information on the area is below. Also near Sesto/Sexten is the area of Moso/Moos.

From Germany, Switzerland and Austria South Tyrol can be reached using the German railway (DB), Swiss Railway (SBB) and Austrian Railway (ÖBB), together with the South Tyrolean and Italian railways.
Pass holders are entitled to unlimited use of ski buses in the Pustertal valley and all public transport (including the regional train) throughout South Tyrol. The ski stadium is a short walk from the centre of town, or hop on the bus, and is an easy place to start some of the nearby routes. There are around 52 listed routes in Toblach/Dobiacco and another 16 route in Sesto.
Here is an interesting route from the Tres Cime gondola via the Kreuzbergpass onto Moso/Moos.
The 3* Tschurtschenthaler Hotel in the middle of Dobbiaco provides a perfect location. It is a short walk to the bus station and has a supermarket nearby. There are many other options in that area including self catering, and a youth hostel.
A couple of others worth mentioning are - Hotel Laurin, close to the ski stadium. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. Hotel Nocker, Dolomitenstrasse 21 is virtually. next to the station and very near the level crossing so quite convenient if travelling by trail. It is more economical than the Laurin. And there is also a very good youth hostel with good facilities at a reasonable price.
